TRAINING

As Newcastle SANDS grows we need good, trained people to help run our support groups, new mum meetings and work on new areas such as telephone support. The first step in helping is come and talk to us.

If you are still interested you’ll need some formal SANDS befriender training. This happens regularly over 2 days at locations across the UK. If we have enough interest within the region we can run one locally.

Everybody offers their support in their own way but talking about it helps me through the worst.
