The death of a baby is a devastating experience. The effects of grief can be overwhelming and parents, their families and friends can be left feeling dazed, disorientated, isolated and exhausted. It can be hard to take in information, to make decisions or to imagine how you are going to cope.

At Sands Newcastle there are people who understand what it’s like because many of us have been through this experience ourselves and are here to offer help, support and information when you need it.

We meet every four weeks from 7.30pm until 9.30pm, at St Georges Church Hall, Jesmond, Newcastle, to talk, remember our loved ones and support each other. Everyone is welcome, whether you lost your child very recently or many years ago. We welcome everyone affected from mum and dad, to grandparents, siblings and friends.
